Job summary

Goodwill in Tallahassee is hiring a Career Navigator to assist individuals with career exploration, pathway planning, and access to work-readiness resources. You will connect participants with staff and community partners to prepare for job placement and retention, documenting progress along the way.

The role requires case management experience, workshop facilitation, and strong computer skills. A degree in Human Services is preferred, and the position is based in an office environment providing

Qualifications

• Experience in career development, job development and job placement required.
• Ability to develop engaging career development workshops for groups.
• Self-directed and motivated; effective team player.
• Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, Google products and databases.
• Associates degree in Human Services; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management for participants through Case Worthy.
• Assist in accessing resources from partner agencies.
• Monitor participant progress and follow up on plan goals.
• Develop career development plans with Goodwill staff and partners.
• Enroll participants in post-secondary/vocational programs per career plan.
• Collect and enter case data weekly to support goals.
• Build relationships with employers to create opportunities.
