Job summary

HMSHost in Irving, TX is seeking a Manager I to support branch management in QSR-style restaurant operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards, while following company policies.

You’ll open, run, and close shifts, supervise associates, assist in hiring decisions, and monitor safety and food safety practices in line with HACCP standards. The role reports to the General Manager or Operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years food and beverage, cash handling and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates.
• Participates in interviewing and hiring decisions.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures all rest breaks and meals are taken.
• Keeps display areas clean, stocked and appealing.
• Maintains equipment in good working order.
• Operates cash register per policies and secures cash.
