Job summary

HMSHost in Irving, TX seeks a Manager II to assist branch management in executing complex QSR or Casual Dine operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, staffed, and operating to high standards.

The Manager II uses policies to guide decisions while coordinating with the GM and operations team. Responsibilities include supervising associates, preparing schedules, maintaining safety and health standards, and ensuring proper cash handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in food & beverage, cash handling and customer service.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory or lead experience in Casual Dine settings.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents, and converse with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures per policy.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a defined restaurant group.
• Ensures compliance with all adult beverage policies and AB procedures.
• Participates in interviewing, hiring input, and recommending status changes to GM.
• Assigns tasks, assists in scheduling, ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures mandated breaks and meals are taken.
• Maintains clean, stocked, and visually appealing display areas.
• Ensures equipment is in good working order.
• Operates cash register and handles transactions per cash policies.
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures, reports safety concerns to GM.
• Performs Health and Safety activities as per policy.
• Places orders, receives goods, processes invoices.
• Maintains current contact information for associates.
