The supervisor will ensure accurate record-keeping, timely payments, and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies, supporting providers and optimizing patient experience daily.

Qualifications

  • Education & experience requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred associate degree in healthcare administration or related field.
  • Experience as Care Team Specialist or similar healthcare role; supervisory or lead experience is required.
  • Knowledge of EMR, practice management software and billing processes; oncology practice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of the Care Team Specialist team and conduct regular workflow audits.
  • Oversee patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, medical records, and patient financial transactions.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance, privacy standards, and accurate documentation across EMR and billing systems.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and scheduling for multi-site coverage as needed.
