Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, maintain high food quality, and ensure safety standards while delivering friendly service.

The role offers hands-on training, opportunities for career development, and supportive teammates. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and comply with sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cooking/food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents, staff, and leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/bend for extended periods.
• May need to complete an approved sanitation/safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meeting standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
