Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure quality, safety, and a positive dining experience for residents and staff in a supportive environment.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred prior cooking experience. Vaccination policies, sanitation training, and state-specific certifications may be required by local laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary requirements.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate with occupants, administration, and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals per menus/recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory and ordering.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
