Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care setting. You will help ensure high-quality food, adhere to safety protocols, and provide friendly service to residents and staff.

Join our team and contribute to a positive dining experience, practicing proper sanitation, following recipes, and supporting inventory and menu planning in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain safety and sanitation guidelines in the kitchen.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Lift/push 50 pounds; stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification per state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.
