Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Wellesley-Natick Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join their team. This role supports the hospital with administrative and customer service tasks, acting as the first point of contact for clients and pets.

Based in Natick, Massachusetts, the position offers a predictable weekday schedule with no nights or weekends, open to both full-time and part-time options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in veterinary, animal care, or medical setting.
• At least 2 years of experience in client services.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Preferred: 1 year front desk / receptionist experience.
• Preferred: experience with Impromed practice management software.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and in high-stress situations.
• Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and information about services and products.
• Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
• Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties for accurate financial transactions.
