Job summary

Confluent Health is seeking a Care Coordinator to deliver an organized, warm, and professional patient experience from the first call through every visit. You will manage front desk operations, scheduling, insurance verifications, and payments while upholding HIPAA standards in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone with patience and professionalism.
• Basic computer proficiency: learning new systems, scheduling software, emails, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Handle front desk operations including patient check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals by gathering information and creating/updating patient records.
• Maintain patient flow by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and following up for future visits.
• Collect copays, balances, and payments accurately; assist with basic payment tracking or reconciliation.
