Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask while staying organized and detail oriented.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone with calmness and professionalism.
• Basic computer proficiency: learn new systems, scheduling software, emails, spreadsheets.
• No prior medical experience required — training provided including EMR navigation and scheduling workflows.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and phone calls.
• Review and follow up on referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
• Keep patient flow moving by confirming appointments and managing waitlists and cancellations.
• Collect copays and payments accurately and maintain basic payment tracking.
• Uphold HIPAA standards in all interactions and documentation.
