ProRehab Physical Therapy, part of Confluent Health, seeks a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. You are the first voice and face for patients, ensuring a warm, organized, and professional experience from first call through visits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical front desk, healthcare reception, physical therapy, chiropractic, dental, or similar clinical setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
• Comfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, electronic medical records, email, and basic spreadsheets.
• Ability to discuss payments, scheduling expectations, and basic insurance information with professionalism.
• A calm, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail and willingness to help the team.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
• Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and following up for future visits.
• Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking.
• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions.
