Strive Physical Therapy, a member of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our clinic team. You will be the first voice and face for patients, providing a warm, organized, and professional welcome from the initial call through every visit.

This fast-paced role covers front desk operations, insurance verification, scheduling, patient check-in/out, payments, and HIPAA privacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills are essential
• Experience in a medical front desk or healthcare setting preferred but not required
• Comfort with computers, phones, scheduling systems, electronic medical records, email, and basic spreadsheets

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients and visitors
• Manage front desk operations: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals; update patient records and explain next steps
• Maintain patient flow by confirming appointments and managing waitlists
• Collect co-pays and other payments accurately; assist with basic payment tracking
• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions
