AdaptHealth is seeking an Intake Specialist to coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure services are set up accurately and efficiently. You’ll collaborate with patients, providers, referral sources, and internal teams to navigate insurance requirements and confirm eligibility.

This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who excel in patient communication and cross-team collaboration within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• One year of relatable work experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office and healthcare systems are a plus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Comfort learning new technologies and navigating multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and medical documentation to determine eligibility and compliance.
• Coordinate with patients, providers, referral sources, and internal teams to move intake forward.
• Communicate with patients about financial responsibilities and document interactions accurately.
• Enter referrals within established timeframes while meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Support team operations and adhere to company policies and procedures.
