Job summary

Merck is seeking a Cardiovascular Disease Specialist to drive patient impact by applying scientific expertise and serving as the primary contact for customers in the assigned territory. The role collaborates with Account Executives, IDS leaders, and field colleagues to deliver patient-focused solutions.

Territory includes Lubbock, Amarillo, Midland, Odessa, and San Angelo with up to ~25% overnight travel. You’ll build relationships with cardiologists, PCPs, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant healthcare sales background recommended.
• Experience in cardiovascular or medical devices sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory-level business plan aligned with policies and ethics.
• Maintain current product knowledge and certifications for the portfolio.
• Conduct compliant product sales discussions with healthcare providers to align needs with products.
• Provide management with regular updates on customer needs and market dynamics.
• Be knowledgeable on approved company products, disease, and marketplace.
• Monitor business performance against objectives using company tools.
