Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is hiring a Cardiovascular Sales Representative in Thousand Oaks, CA to achieve sales goals within a designated territory. The CSR will develop territory plans, build professional relationships with physicians, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales, a life sciences or related degree, and strong analytical and communication skills. Travel may be required as part of managing the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 2+ years of cardiovascular/cardiometabolic experience preferred.
• Experience in highly managed, payor-controlled markets preferred.
• Consistent track record of top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on targets in the designated territory geography is highly desired.
• Experience launching products in competitive markets.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed targeted sales goals in an assigned territory by developing and executing an integrated plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians.
• Collaborate with FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations teams.
• Identify key influencers and manage customer interactions.
• Use data tools and insights to guide business decisions.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills and prepare group presentations.
• Plan and organize activities for regular territory coverage.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Execute Syneos Health brand strategy within the territory.
• Participate in training and development programs.
