Job summary

Syneos Health in Orange County, CA is seeking a Cardiovascular Sales Representative to drive sales within a defined geography by executing a comprehensive territory plan and building strong professional relationships with targeted physicians. You will operate in a matrixed environment, collaborating with FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations to maximize opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 2+ years of cardiovascular/cardiometabolic strongly preferred.
• Experience in highly managed, payor-controlled markets is strongly preferred.
• Consistent track record of documented top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on assigned targets in the designated territory geography highly desired.
• Experience launching products in competitive marketplace.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information, apply technical proficiency and effectively communicate.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with a high level of autonomy and independence.
• Strong technical & analytical skills including proficiency with CRM, AI tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed sales goals in territory by developing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Succeed in a complex, matrixed selling environment with cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify key influencers and meet interaction expectations with top customers.
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for decision-making.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills (including group presentations).
• Plan and organize activities for regular territory coverage.
• Manage territory budget to support sales/marketing activities.
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Execute the company’s brand strategy and tactics within their geographic area.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Comply with legal, regulatory and compliance policies with integrity.
• Additional duties as required.
