Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales, cardio/cardiometabolic experience preferred, strong analytical skills, and the ability to travel as needed. Proficiency with CRM and MS Office is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 2+ years of cardiovascular/cardiometabolic experience preferred.
• Experience in highly managed, payor-controlled markets preferred.
• Strong top-tier sales track record.
• Experience calling on assigned targets in the territory.
• Experience launching products in competitive markets.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate effectively.
• Self-motivated with high autonomy.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed sales goals in an assigned territory.
• Establish and maintain relationships with targeted physicians.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing, Operations).
• Identify key influencers and meet interaction expectations.
• Use data tools and insights to guide strategy and tactics.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills (presentations, etc.).
• Plan and organize activities for regular territory coverage.
• Manage territory budget to support activities.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Execute brand strategy within the geographic area.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Comply with regulatory policies and maintain integrity.
