Job summary

Merck is seeking a Cardiovascular Disease Specialist to build territory relationships with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals across assigned markets in the United States. You will drive patient-focused solutions by aligning needs with our product portfolio and maintaining up-to-date knowledge and certifications.

You will collaborate with Account Executives and IDS leaders, execute business plans, and monitor performance while traveling to meet client needs and cover the territory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with relevant sales experience.
• Strong analytical and data-driven strategy skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and reside within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory-level business plan aligned with policies and ethics.
• Maintain current product knowledge and certifications for the portfolio.
• Conduct compliant product sales discussions with healthcare providers to align customer needs with products.
• Provide management with regular updates on customer needs and marketplace dynamics.
• Be knowledgeable on HQ-approved information regarding products, disease, and marketplace.
• Monitor business performance against objectives using company tools.
