Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Account Manager to cover the East PA/NJ/DE territory, managing the Cardiometabolic portfolio including Afinion and Cholestech LDX. You’ll work with Technical Consultants and Enterprise Account Managers to meet sales objectives and build strong distributor relationships.

The role requires a BA/BS and 4+ years in medical diagnostics or B2B sales. You’ll engage hospitals, physician offices, and IDNs, negotiate contracts, and drive growth across the region.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required.
• 4+ years in medical diagnostics or B2B sales.
• Strong knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies.
• Proven successful POC/Capital Equipment sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities and capitalize on them.
• Establish, develop, and maintain the business and client relationships.
• Strategic development of POC sales opportunities.
• Implement sales, marketing, and national account programs as directed by management.
• Build and maintain a strong competitive product knowledge.
• Meet established sales goals and objectives while maintaining the territory budget.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage the distributor sales force in the assigned territory.
