Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in the United States is seeking an Account Manager to cover AZ, NM, Southern NV and El Paso, TX. You will manage the Cardiometabolic product portfolio, focusing on point-of-care diagnostics with Afinion and Cholestech LDX systems, while building relationships with physician offices, hospitals, and distributors.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in sales, marketing, business management, or life science.
• 4+ years’ experience in medical diagnostics or business-to-business sales.
• Experience working with distribution partners.
• Strong knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies.
• Proven successful POC/Capital Equipment sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities and capitalize on them.
• Establish and maintain the business and client relationships.
• Strategic development of POC Sales opportunities.
• Implement sales, marketing, and national account programs as directed by management.
• Train and develop distributor sales forces to represent Abbott’s products in the marketplace.
• Support contract negotiation, pricing, proposal, bid preparation, and all customer follow-up.
• Identify customer issues and resolve sales-related difficulties.
