Job summary

Abbott is hiring an Account Manager to cover the E. PA/NJ/DE Territory. You will manage ARDx’s Cardiometabolic product portfolio, focusing on point-of-care diagnostics and cholesterol testing analyzers, while collaborating with Technical Consultants and Enterprise Account Managers.

Build relationships with distributors and end users, and meet sales objectives. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in medical diagnostics or B2B sales, strong sales skills, and proven POC/capital equipment sales

Qualifications

• BA/BS required.
• 4+ years’ experience in medical diagnostics or B2B sales.
• Strong knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies.
• Proven successful POC/Capital Equipment sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities and capitalize on them.
• Establish, develop, and maintain the business and client relationships.
• Strategic development of POC sales opportunities.
• Implement sales, marketing, and national account programs as directed by management.
• Build and maintain a strong competitive product knowledge.
• Meet established sales goals and objectives while maintaining the territory budget.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage the distributor sales force in the assigned territory; train and develop these sales forces to represent Abbott’s products.
