Job summary

Abbott Laboratories seeks an Account Manager for the E. PA/NJ/DE territory, focusing on cardiometabolic products like Afinion and Cholestech LDX. You’ll manage physician offices, hospital accounts, and IDNs, building relationships and driving point-of-care testing adoption.

You will collaborate with Technical Consultants and Enterprise Account Managers, achieve sales goals, and coordinate distributor programs while maintaining the territory budget.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in medical diagnostics or business-to-business sales.
• Strong knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies.
• Proven successful POC/Capital Equipment sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities and capitalize on them.
• Establish, develop, and maintain the business and client relationships.
• Strategic development of POC Sales opportunities.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage the sales performance of the distributor sales force in the territory.
• Train and develop sales force to represent Abbott’s products.
• Support distribution partners with training, meetings, and marketing support.
• Assist with contract negotiation, pricing, proposal, and bid preparation.
