Job summary

Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is seeking a Patient Services Rep II to provide a positive experience for patient-families by handling clerical tasks, answering calls, registering patients, and checking them in and out for outpatient cardiology services.

Working with 38 providers, you will coordinate appointments, assist with financial clearance and authorization duties, and contribute to divisional performance reports and metrics.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience in a medical front office preferred.
• Basic computer, filing, and organizational skills required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and assist with registration and check-in/out.
• Collect patient co-pay or deductibles and verify scheduling.
• Provide administrative support for assigned providers and assist with performance reports.
