Qualifications

• Comfortable with computers and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of major insurance plans and government programs.
• Preferred: 2 years in medical office; float pool experience; bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointments and assist patients and families as needed.
• Manage messages, encounter registration, referrals, and financial clearance.
• Verify patient information and insurance coverage; assist with verification.
• Answer and screen incoming calls; relay messages to clinicians.
• Support daily clinic preparation and assist in coverage during peak times.
