Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Territory Manager for Shockwave Medical in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships to increase account revenue and satisfaction within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities include promoting Shockwave products to hospital staff, educating physicians, attending procedures, and meeting sales objectives while collaborating across Clinical, Marketing, and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ territory manager experience in hospital-based life sciences (cardiovascular preferred). May substitute 3 years’ cardiovascular or interventional sales support experience.
• Sales experience in catheter technology with occlusive vascular disease, endovascular, atherectomy, stent, coronary sales with peripheral influence preferred but not required.
• Ability to meet and exceed the assigned sales plan on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Capable of independently managing time, resources, and budget within the territory to achieve objectives.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with customers, hospitals and physicians.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Must not be debarred by FDA for work in any Medical Device business.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Operate as a team and/or independently while adapting to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to promote Shockwave products to hospital personnel and physicians.
• Meet with physicians and hospital staff to determine needs, goals, usage, and case types.
• Educate customers on products and clinical usage via presentations and demonstrations.
• Attend procedures in ORs and advise on product usage to meet physician/OR needs.
• Attain sales/revenue objectives and quota for the territory.
• Partner with Clinical, Field Clinical Reps, Marketing, R&D and other units to identify selling opportunities.
• Conduct consultative sales calls with Interventional Cardiologists and Vascular Surgeons.
• Build and maintain solid customer relationships.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and ability to discuss clinically with physicians.
• Complete timely reports: sales, expense, product tracking, targeting, and complaints.
• Maintain ethical standards and comply with corporate policies and FDA/quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
