Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix seeks a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join the General Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The PCU is a 60-bed cardiac progressive care unit, providing close monitoring for patients post-surgery and with cardiac or respiratory needs.

• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA license in state of practice.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Hospital or healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and support care plans.
• Collect vital signs and other delegated data; document in medical records.
• Communicate patient status to care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist with procedures and supply management under supervision.
• Perform receptionist/clerical duties and support unit operations.
