Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA in state of practice is required for new hires.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy is required.
• ECG/EEG interpretation training or course or on-the-job training is required.
• Arizona fingerprint clearance/card may be required for certain departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Collect vital signs and data; document in medical records.
• Report abnormalities to a licensed professional.
• Perform delegated procedures (e.g., blood draws, EKGs) under supervision.
• Handle receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Maintain complete patient records and ensure chart forms are filed.
• Monitor supplies and assist with ordering and equipment tracking.
• Assist with patient transport and OR turnover as assigned.
