Job summary

Banner Health's Medical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Phoenix seeks an experienced registered nurse for a full-time Day shift. The PCU handles cardiac patients and offers cross-department growth toward ICU, ED, and OR.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and staff, with strong nursing mentorship and a Nursing Clinical Ladder program. Position requires 3 shifts per week from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, with weekends/holidays rotating.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice or equivalent licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care settings is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care.
• Implement and evaluate the care plan.
• Document care and patient responses.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team and supervise staff as needed.
• Participate in unit leadership and mentoring.
