Job summary

Banner Health's Surgical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Surgical PCU Registered Nurse for the night shift. You will care for vascular, cardio-thoracic, and heart failure patients, with LVAD/TAH treatments, in a teaching-oriented, collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes adherence to professional nursing standards, ongoing development, and participation in the Nursing Clinical Ladder.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care.
• Care for patients per physician orders and nursing plan.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing team activities.
• Communicate patient status to care team.
• Participate in ongoing professional development.
