Job summary

Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join the Cardiac Progressive Care unit on a full-time day shift (three 12-hour shifts, 6:00am–6:30pm). You will provide routine patient care, assist with daily living activities, and support high-acuity cardiovascular patients in a 60-bed CPCU.

The ideal candidate holds a current CNA license and may have LNA experience. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates, with weekend differential and night

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice.
• One year of medical clerical or hospital experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and overall care plans.
• Document patient data, vital signs, and chart progress in the medical record.
• Assist with basic hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and specimen collection as needed.
• Perform procedures and use equipment under supervision of licensed staff.
• Support unit operations and maintain supplies and patient education materials.
