Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Field Access Specialist to manage defined accounts in the Nashville region, focusing on cardiac therapies and patient access programs. You will partner with call center services, HUB, sales, and market access to execute the territory plan.

The role emphasizes payer education, access processes, and resolving coverage challenges; candidacy requires experience in managed care or biologic reimbursement, and willingness to work within territory boundaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum three years of experience in public or private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, clinical support, and/or sales or a minimum of 6 years biologic coordinator experience
• Experience with specialty/biologic self-injectable or physician administered products
• Ability to educate offices on access processes and Patient Service programs
• Ability to manage ambiguity and solve problems
• Must live within territory or boundaries

Responsibilities

• Act as an extension of the call center/HUB and provide live one-on-one coverage support
• Serve as payer expert for defined geography and communicate payer changes to stakeholders
• Educate offices on access processes including formulary coverage/utilization management criteria, insurance forms and procedures, benefits investigation, prior authorization, appeal, and/or claims resolution
• Review patient-specific information in reimbursement cases where the office requested assistance in resolving access issue or coverage challenge

Education
