Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a qualified echocardiography technologist to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. You will perform 2D echocardiography, assist with stress tests, and collaborate with cardiologists to interpret results.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Education: Sonography or related field.
• Accept New Grads.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identifies EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmias.
• Uses M-Mode and Doppler techniques to assess cardiac structures and blood flow.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and selects appropriate transducers for optimal resolution.
• Communicates results to the cardiologist and assists in stress echocardiography and TEE when needed.
