Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform high-quality cardiac and vascular imaging for adult patients. The role includes assisting with stress testing and related duties as assigned.

Sign-on bonus is available, and relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates. ARDMS/CCI certification within 1 year and BLS within 30 days are required; new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Certifications: ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year and BLS within 30 days (AHA).
Education: Sonography or related field.
Work Experience: Accept New Grads.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
Identify EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmias.
Apply age-specific considerations and optimize imaging and Doppler techniques.
Positioning, breathing guidance, and transducer placement for best cardiac visualization.
Recognize normal vs abnormal findings and imaging artifacts.
Document findings and communicate results to the cardiologist.
