Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a qualified echocardiography technologist to provide high quality ultrasound images of the heart and great vessels for adult patients, with support for exercise and non-exercise stress testing.

Candidates must have ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year and BLS within 30 days; education in sonography or related field. This role offers sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, with potential for mobile echo service involvement.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS within 30 days (American Heart Association).
• Education: Sonography or Related field

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels, including identifying EKG abnormalities.
• Utilizes knowledge of age specific needs of patients in performance of everyday duties.
• Proficient in Doppler techniques to investigate specific clinical questions and optimize imaging.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and selects the transducer for optimal resolution.
• Communicates results to the cardiologist in a timely manner and assists in interpretation.
• Participates in mobile echo/vascular service regionally.
