Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an ultrasound technologist to provide high-quality echocardiography for adult patients and to support exercise and non-exercise stress testing as needed.

AR DMS or CCI registration with BLS within 30 days is required; education in sonography or a related field is also expected. New grads welcome. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• Education: Sonography or Related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identifies EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmias.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and Doppler controls to obtain interpretable images.
• Monitors and interprets left and right ventricular function and wall motion.
• Communicates results to the cardiologist and documents appropriately.
