Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an ultrasound technologist to provide high-quality echocardiography imaging for adult patients, including stress testing assistance and related duties. The role supports imaging of the heart and great vessels using standard and Doppler techniques, with opportunities to participate in TEE and exercise stress protocols.

Qualifications include ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year and BLS per AHA timelines.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• Education: Sonography or Related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identifies EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia.
• Uses age-specific techniques and patient positioning for optimal imaging.
• Knowledge of Doppler techniques and imaging artifacts to investigate clinical questions.
• Assists cardiologist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and stress echocardiography.
