Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a qualified cardiac sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. You will assist with exercise and pharmacologic stress testing, interpret studies, and communicate findings to the cardiologist.

The role requires ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year, BLS within 30 days, and education in sonography or a related field. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available, with opportunities to join a multi-hospital

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year
• BLS within 30 days – American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels
• Identify EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia
• Assist with doppler techniques and imaging views to visualize cardiac structures
• Assess heart function and morphology, document findings and correlate with clinical data
• Participate in mobile echo/vascular service regionally and in callback rotation
• Maintain quality control, training, and competency in stress echocardiography
