Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a skilled cardiac sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound images of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. The role includes assisting with stress testing and related duties as required, with sign-on and relocation bonuses available for qualified candidates.

Ideal candidates hold ARDMS or CCI registration, have education in Sonography or related field, and are prepared to obtain BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identify EKG abnormalities and arrhythmias.
• Use M-Mode technique to measure cardiac dimensions.
• Assess valvular insufficiencies using color Doppler.
• Evaluate blood flow with pulsed and continuous-wave Doppler.
• Perform and assist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
