Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an ultrasound professional to perform high-quality echocardiography studies of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. The role includes assisting with exercise and pharmacologic stress tests and providing support to the cardiology team.

Qualifications include ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year and BLS within 30 days. A degree in Sonography or a related field is required, with up to new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.
• Education in Sonography or Related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identifies EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia.
• Uses Doppler techniques to investigate specific clinical questions.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and adjusts controls for optimal images.
• Maintains patient history and data to facilitate diagnostic results.
• Participates in mobile echo/vascular service regionally.
• Assists in stress echocardiography procedures.
