Job summary

AFFIRM is seeking a Compliance Manager to own compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program. You will make independent, risk-based calls across marketing, onboarding, disputes, and remediation, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ship card features that are compliant and built to last.

You will review marketing, disclosures, and UX for regulatory alignment and lead remediation from root cause analysis to durable fixes, while supporting regulatory exams and audits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a compliance advisory role within financial services
• Experience on card, payments; certifications a plus
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Strong written and verbal communication about regulatory issues

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program across marketing, onboarding, wallets, disputes, and servicing
• Navigate novel regulatory questions with sound judgment under Reg E, Reg Z, CARD Act, and UDAAP
• Review and approve Card marketing, disclosures, and UX for regulatory compliance
• Lead root-cause analysis and remediation for Card compliance issues to durable fixes
• Collaborate with Compliance Testing, Legal, and Risk for exams and audits
• Maintain the Card program's compliance risk assessment and control inventory
• Develop and maintain Card-specific compliance training and reference materials
• Serve as the go-to compliance expert during product lifecycle development
