AFFIRM is seeking a Compliance Manager to own compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program. You’ll make risk-based calls on card marketing, onboarding, and disputes, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ship compliant features that stand up to audits.

With 8+ years in financial services compliance and deep knowledge of Reg E, Reg Z, and CARD Act, you will guide product from design through launch, ensuring consumer protection and regulatory alignment across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a compliance advisory role within financial services, with card/payments focus.
• Strong knowledge of EFTA (Reg E) and TILA (Reg Z)/CARD Act applied to card products.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Ability to influence Product, Engineering, and Operations stakeholders on regulatory matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for complex regulatory issues.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program across marketing, onboarding, wallets, disputes, and servicing.
• Navigate novel regulatory questions and escalate only when warranted.
• Review and approve marketing disclosures and UX for regulatory compliance.
• Lead root-cause analysis and durable remediation of compliance issues.
• Collaborate with Compliance Testing, Legal, and Risk for exams and audits.
• Maintain the Card program's compliance risk assessment and control inventory.
• Develop and maintain Card-specific compliance training and reference materials.
• Serve as the go-to compliance expert on new Card features and product lifecycles.
