Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Compliance Manager to own compliance advisory for the Affirm Card program. You will make independent, risk-based calls across card marketing, onboarding, disputes, and remediation, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ship card features that are compliant and built to last.

The role requires 8+ years in financial services compliance, deep knowledge of Reg E and Reg Z, experience with card networks, and a track record of independent decision-making in

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a compliance advisory role within financial services with a Bachelor's degree (6+ years with a Master's degree, or 3+ years with a PhD).
• Deep knowledge of EFTA (Reg E) and TILA (Reg Z)/CARD Act; familiarity with UDAAP and Reg DD.
• Experience with card networks (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end compliance advisory for the Affirm Card program across marketing, onboarding, disputes, and remediation.
• Review and approve marketing disclosures and UX to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead root-cause analysis and remediation for Card compliance issues through to durable fixes.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to support audits and regulatory exams.
