Job summary

AFFIRM is seeking a Compliance Manager to own compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program. You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ship compliant, durable card features across marketing, onboarding, and servicing.

The role requires deep EFTA Reg E, TILA Reg Z/CARD Act, and UDAAP knowledge, with hands-on experience in card networks. Remote-first with flexible in-person work and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a compliance advisory role within financial services, with card/payments exposure.
• Deep working knowledge of EFTA (Reg E), TILA (Reg Z)/CARD Act, and UDAAP.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present regulatory issues to non-compliance audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program, including marketing, onboarding, wallets, disputes, and servicing.
• Lead root-cause analysis and sustainable remediation for card compliance issues.
• Prepare for regulatory exams and audits with partners across Legal, Risk, and Compliance Testing.
• Develop and maintain training and reference materials for Card regulatory requirements.
• Surface risk early in the product lifecycle and partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations.
