Job summary

Baker Tilly provides advisory, tax and assurance services in the United States and globally, seeking a Consulting Manager for the Construction and Real Estate Advisory practice. The role drives construction program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate management assessments while delivering integrated consulting tailored to capital projects and real estate operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in construction and real estate environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, or Accounting.
• Knowledge across planning, procurement, scheduling, cost estimating, reporting, closeout, and real estate portfolio management.
• Experience conducting contract compliance audits and real estate-related reconciliations preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with client-facing report preparation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support engagements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction and real estate process reviews, controls, and compliance analyses.
• Assess contracts, lease agreements, and capital project performance for contractual/regulatory alignment.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency.
• Lead fieldwork including data collection, site visits, interviews, and reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, and clients to support oversight and risk mitigation.
• Support lifecycle activities from acquisition to disposition to align with business objectives.
