Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Consulting Manager for its Construction and Real Estate Advisory practice. The role delivers construction program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate management assessments across the United States.

The candidate will develop industry knowledge, lead fieldwork, and provide best-practice consulting to address construction and real estate challenges while supporting client relationships and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in construction management, real estate advisory, or capital projects consulting.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; professional certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of construction phases (planning, procurement, scheduling, cost estimating, closeout) and real estate portfolio management.
• Experience conducting contract compliance audits and CAM reconciliations for public or private sector clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce client-facing reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction and real estate process reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assess contracts, leases, and capital project performance for compliance and best practices.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency.
• Lead fieldwork: data collection, site visits, interviews, and documentation; prepare reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal teams, clients, and contractors to support oversight and risk mitigation.
• Support clients through the real estate and capital project lifecycle from acquisition to disposition.
