Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage patient procedure scheduling, pre-admission testing, and post-operative follow-ups in a busy health system.

You will coordinate with patients, staff, and external partners, ensure accurate demographic data, and maintain multiple scheduling applications while delivering clear information.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, attention to detail, and teamwork in a patient-centered environment.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Written communications: ability to communicate clearly in English with internal and external customers.
• Oral communications: ability to converse in English with staff, patients, families and external customers.
• Knowledge: ability to apply standard concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Schedules patients for procedures and related appointments, and notifies patients of details.
• Maintains multiple applications for scheduling and patient data; coordinates resources and staff.
• Communicates schedules daily and updates staff with revisions; posts schedules.
• Acts as liaison to internal departments and external resources.
• Coordinates paperwork and preauthorization, and processes referrals.
