Job summary

Lids The COOP at Harvard and MIT stores seeks a leading retail professional to provide daily floor and operational leadership, emphasizing transaction accuracy, cash office routines, inventory support, and service with Manager-on-Duty coverage.

Responsibilities include directing daily work, coaching staff on service and product knowledge, and ensuring adherence to store procedures while maintaining a visible customer-focused presence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail/operations/cash office/inventory or customer service experience preferred.
• Previous keyholder, lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong accuracy, judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort handling multiple tender types and retail systems.
• Flexible availability, including opening, closing, weekend, holiday, and peak-period shifts.

Responsibilities

• Open or close the store and act as Manager-on-Duty when assigned.
• Direct work, support breaks and coverage, monitor service levels, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Coach associates on customer service, transactions, product knowledge, and store procedures.
