Job summary

Lids Sports Group supports The COOP retail experience serving the Harvard and MIT communities in Cambridge, MA. The Campus Store Manager will lead daily operations, drive sales and service, and oversee merchandising, inventory, and team performance to deliver an exceptional campus retail experience.

The role requires 3+ years in retail with supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and flexible availability for peak academic periods.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail experience preferred; at least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in collegiate, bookstore, specialty, or multi-category retail preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead the store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak academic periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations as Manager-on-Duty and drive sales, service, people, merchandising, and inventory results.
• Support The COOP membership experience and campus programs, discounts, and events.
• Own assigned departments or functions (replenishment, merchandising, receiving, visual execution, operations).
• Assist with peak-period planning for orientation, commencements, reunions, and campus events.
