Job summary

Alpha School seeks a Director of Membership to own the campus enrollment journey from inquiry to first day. You will manage a large pipeline, conduct tours and shadow days, and deliver decisions in person with a focus on high-value families.

You will maintain HubSpot and SIS records, use AI tools for prep, and report weekly on pipeline health. This role is on-site at a single campus in Austin, TX, with a high emphasis on client experience and rigorous selection.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a client-facing role with a buyer of $25,000+ per client.
• Owned a client/admissions journey from inquiry through commitment.
• Managed 7+ client relationships simultaneously in a CRM or database.
• Capable of turning away a prospect when fit is not right.
• Used AI tools in a client-facing workflow.
• Communicated concisely with executives and high-net-worth individuals.
• Led in-person tours, presentations, meetings, or hosted experiences for affluent families.
• Built multi-touch relationships over 30+ days.
• Owned enrollment or revenue targets for 12+ months with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Owning the membership journey for every prospective family, from first inquiry through onboarding, and running a real needs assessment before you present anything.
• Carrying 20+ active families at once, answering every inquiry promptly and reviewing applications daily.
• Leading campus tours, open houses, info sessions, and shadow days that show families exactly who this is and is not for.
• Forming the admit or decline recommendation and delivering the decision to the family yourself.
• Keeping HubSpot and the student information system (SIS) current after every interaction, using AI tools for prep and summaries, and reporting pipeline health weekly.
