Job summary

Unitek Learning in California is seeking a Campus Support Specialist to provide facilities and IT support, assisting employees with computer hardware and software issues and supporting campus services under the Campus Director.

You will maintain sites, coordinate repair requests with coworkers, help users by phone, email, or in person, and assist the IT team with printer toners, setups, and basic hardware fixes, plus other campus tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of facilities-related experience is preferred.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• General computer knowledge – including hardware repair and setup.
• Ability to troubleshoot and instruct others on steps to solve problems.
• Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, customer-service oriented.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upkeep of sites/buildings and related services (may include hanging materials, light facilities work, and repairs).
• Coordinate with coworkers to assign requests and ensure repairs are completed properly.
• Answer technical questions from employees/students via phone, email, or in person and guide them through solutions.
• Provide technical support to staff and users; assist IT with computer setup, printer toners, installs, and basic hardware/software fixes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Campus Director and support non-technical campus tasks.
